Replacing the Melted Baster

Remember when I melted my baster trying to suck up hot bacon grease from the griddle on the grill? Well, I’ve replaced that mess times two. I picked up another plastic one for less precarious uses in the house, and a metal one if I need one on the grill again. The plastic baster has measurement markings, although I’m not sure how those come in handy, but maybe I’ll find out. The stainless steel baster comes with an injector attachment that can also aid in flavoring foods. Both come with cleaning brushes, but I’d rather not think about cleanup.
